The Sports Betting Champ System now has an outstanding 7-0 record for the 2009-2010 NBA season. That's a great start and as the season goes on the NBA betting system will get even stronger. There are a few basic reasons why this happens and they are the same reasons that your NBA picks should also get stronger.
With each passing day they are more statistics that you can use to update your power rankings. The statistics also get stronger as the season progresses because with more games played you get a chance to see the bigger trends and the strengths or weaknesses of teams also begin to appear. Early you are basically basing your rankings on last season and preseason, both of which are relatively weak indicators of te current season results. But, as the season goes on you have more REAL data from this year to confirm your rankings and also the information you need to make the necessary changes.
Every season has some surprises and there are no guarentees that because a team was good or bad last year they will remain the same this year. Players change teams, coaches change and players age and mature. Some players drop off while others gain that extra step and poise that they need to help take their team to the next level.
That is why The Sports Betting Champ gets stronger too. It begins to build momentum off of the season's statistics and sees the patterns begin to emerge. It is also why, YEAR AFTER Year, that the system wins more often as the season goes on. Early on not enough games meet the system criteria to make it a winning pick, but as it goes on the statistics show it more and more winning NBA picks.
So, remember, it is neve too late to start winning with Sports Betting Champ. Pick it up now and add it too your killer arsenal of NBA betting tools! With it you will win more aften and avoid the losses that hurt your bankroll. Start winning your NBA picks more often on tonights games!
Cheers,
Ed Manning

SportsBettingChamp NBA Picks | 3 Great Weeks
The SportsBettingChamp System has been racking up the wins in the last 3 weeks. When I made the last post on November 17, the best NBA betting system had just started to make winning NBA picks and was 4 and 0.
Talk about a winning streak!! Just 3 weeks later the betting system in now an amazing 18 and 0. That's 14 wins in a short period of time. Now some of you may be saying that 14 wins isn't a lot in 3 weeks, but it really is. Considering that these are low risk bets and there haven't been any losses, your bankroll should have grown by a substantial amount. If you have been using good bankroll management there is a good chance you are up at least 56% in the same time period. If you bet more then 4% per pick, then you'll be up even more.
It has been a great NBA season so far and not just because of The SportsBettingChamp System. There has been a lot of action, with great games, some interesting trades and off the court controversy. I find it entertaining to listen to Charles Barkley and Lebron James have a spat about his future.
There are some of the usual patterns emerging as well. The Boston Celtics are again the dominant team in the east, with the Cleveland Cavaliers hoping to change things this year. In the west the battle continues between the LA Lakers and the Phoenix Suns, with the Lakers having the edge at this point.
Duane Wade is having a good season and is currently the offensive leader, with Lebron James right behind him. The Toronto Raptors also are getting a lot of offense from Chris Bosch, but have been unable to turn his offense into team wins.
Tonight the safe bets that I see are the Lakers winning in Sacramento and the Cavaliers beating the visiting Raptors. That game could also be a potential over, as their is a lot of offense on both sides of the court. If you are looking for a third bet, I would take the Detroit Pistons of the Washington Wizards. Remember, these are my picks and not from any system.
To increase your odds of winning you should be using The SportsBettingChamp System. With Christmas around the corner everyone could use the extra cash that comes from winning picks. Even if you missed the first 18 wins you need to start now. Last season there were 80 wins. Maybe you could tell someone to get you the SportsBettingChamp System for Christmas. Think of it as a gift that will pay for itself and more!!
Cheers,
Ed Manning

SportsBettingChamp|NBA Tonight Update
The SportsbettingChamp System has continued to impress everyone including the skeptics. Are there more wins in the NBA tonight? They are having a hard time doing so since the sports betting system now has a record of 78-1. If you use this great NBA betting system you feel like a sportsbettingchamp and your bankroll proves it.
I still keep hearing about how the SportsbettingChamp System does progressive bets and that the one loss or more that never seem to show up will kill your bankroll. Well I can assure you that this isn't true. One loss cost me some cash, but the other 78 wins loaded me up with much more. But you still hear it, nobody wants to believe how great this NBA betting system is, especially when they missed out.
I heard the same things before I started with The SportsBettingChamp System but had limited success with other sports betting systems so I went for it. John Morrison's sports betting picks have lived up to their claims.
If you have sat on the side lines this season then stop waiting. The NBA season is passing you by, but its not over yet. They you have the MLB season, as The SportsBettingChamp is a great MLB betting system too. Don't let the 2008 MLB season pass you by, especially if you missed the NBA season.
In the NBA tonight there are only 3 games. They could all look tempting to the sports bettor, but I am sure you can see the dangers if you look closely. A lot of NBA betting systems may give you green light on some of the visiting teams in the NBA tonight.
There is a huge point spread, 21 now, in favor of the Detroit Pistons stomping on the Miami Heat. While lines like this do seem tempting, be careful. Can you see the Pistons winning with a score of like 122 to 95 or something like that? I can so I am going to avoid this game. Enough said.
With the 2 remaining games in the NBA tonight you need to look at the NBA injury report. The Dallas Mavericks need a win against their rivals the Denver Nuggets, but are without Dirk Nowitzki. Josh Howard has had a few 30 point games lately, but I am not sure he will be enough as the Nuggets are in fine form and relatively healthy. Dallas is a 9 point underdog and I think the Dirk factor is enough for me to not bet the NBA money line. I might go for the under on the 215 total.
The last game has the Portland Trailblazers visiting their west coast rivals, the Golden State Warriors. Again, if you add on 3 points to the current line, you would make Portland a 14-1/2 point underdog. This is attractive, but again there are NBA injury factors to consider. Brandon Roy strained his groin and the team is concerned he could be out for the season. He is the top point scorer for the Trailblazers, who also missed their 2nd top scorer, LaMarcus Aldridge, last game and his status is uncertain for tonight. This is a coin flip, I will leave it up to you. Again, to me, under looks OK. Portland has held the Warriors to under 100 points twice this year and both games had point totals of 200. The current over/under is at 209-1/2. Mmmmm.
Leave a comment and share your thoughts on the NBA tonight. Who, why and what mes you make you NBA picks. How do you use your NBA betting system for wins? Or do you use a sports betting system at all? I believe that all serious sports bettors should base their bets around one. It will enhance your low risk betting strategy. See for yourself as The SportsBettingChamp System is the best NBA betting system for a low risk bets.
cheers,
Ed Manning

Nowitzki's Out And The NBA Point Spread Shows It
With Nowitzki out you can see the affect that a star player has on the NBA point spread. The Mavericks would have likely been about a 3 or 4 point favorite at home against the Rockets. Especially with Yao out of the Houston line-up.
But now, with Nowitzki out, it's basically a coin flip on this game as Dallas is only a 1 point favorite. Take your pick if you want, but I think it might be too risky now, as this one could go either way. If the Mavericks had the 3 or 4 point spread I would have made the bet for sure, as I think McGrady will help a lot to keep it close. He still might make the difference as the Rockets are flying high and trying to win their 17th in a row. Tough call.
The next game has the Bulls hosting the red hot Lebron James and his Cavaliers. Lebron is on fire, having become the first player to score at least 50 points, get 10 assists and have eight rebounds since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did it in 1975. He is an amazing player and has averaged over 30 points a game this year.
He is why I think he Cavaliers will win tonight against the Bulls. The Cav's have won seven of nine against the Bulls, including three of four in Chicago and are looking good to win this one. The point spread has the Bulls as a 3-1/2 to 4 point favorite depending on where you are looking and I am taking it.
That is all that I have for the NBA tonight. Just a quick little NCAA tip. I have a few friends that follow it quite a bit and are telling me to take the 5-1/2 points and Arizona State over Oregon tonight. I trust them so I am going to go with it.
Have A Good Night!!

NBA Betting Tonight & The SportsBettingChamp
With there only being 3 games in the NBA tonight there is still value to be found. Each game has its own risks, but one or two may fit into your low risk betting strategy. Let's run through them and you can decide if there's a pick or two that stands out. As always, be sure to use The SportsBettingChamp System as the first step in going through the day's games.
The first game and for me, the one that is the least attractive, has the Philadelphia 76'ers visiting the LA Clippers. The 76'ers have been playing well as of late going 9-3 since Feb. 5th and have won 9 of their last 12.
They hope to continue that in LA to night against the Clippers who have lost their last 5. That means they are now even farther out of the playoff race. Chris Mason did return last game and he should perform better tonight.
The line currently has Philly as a 2-1/2 point favorite. If I was going anywhere with this game I would say they should be able to do it.
The next game has a strong New Orleans Hornets team heading into New York to play the Knicks. The should come out fired up after losing to Washington on Sunday. They have a great 19-9 road record while the Knicks are under .500 at home.
The line has the Knicks as a 7 point underdog and that seems to be about right. I think the Hornets can cover it, but when you are coming off of a loss to a team you felt you should have beaten badly strange things can happen. By strange, I mean that it will repeat itself. You may call it superstition, but I take that factor into account when I look at match-ups. So, to me, the Hornets should cover, but you never know. If you feel like taking a gamble, buy a few points and take the Knicks against the spread.
Finally, we have the Utah Jazz hosting the Dallas Mavericks. Dallas would really like to get a big win and end Utah's 15 game home winning streak. The Mav's need to catch up a bit against the Western Conference teams, especially after splitting its last 4 games and having the 2 losses come against Western Conference powerhouses San Antonio and the Lakers.
The line has the Jazz as a 6 point favorite right now. I think they will win, but am not 100% sure they can cover. Their home record is tied for best in the league with Dallas at 25-3 and I can't see them losing ground on that tonight. But, the Mavericks have played tight with the top teams that they just lost to only losing by 3 in one game and 4 in the other. This might be another opportunity to buy a few points and pick the Mavericks up against the spread.
That's a look at the NBA tonight, so log in to your favorite sports book, look at the lines and place your winning bets.
The SportsBettingChamp System is now an amazing 65-1 and continuing to win. The NBA season isn't over and neither are the winning picks that just keep coming. I also want to thank everyone for their comments and emails about their sports betting success. Keep the comments coming and we will continue to find betting value.

Light Schedule In NBA Tonight
There are only 3 games in the NBA tonight. Before I go into them I want to congratulate Lebron James on becoming the youngest player in NBA history to hit the 10,000 point mark. Too bad it didn't happen on a winning night for the Cavaliers, but it is still quite an achievement. Now onto the NBA games tonight.
The first action in the NBA tonight is a match-up between two teams that are both in 4th place in their respective divisions. It has the Milwaukee Bucks visiting the New Jersey Nets. The Bucks are going to be trying to win their 3rd in a row for the first time since early January. While the Nets, are battling for a playoff spot since making the trade with the Mavericks that saw Jason Kidd leave. Tonight could mark the first time the guard the Nets got in return, Devin Harris takes to the court, but it will be a game time decision.
The line is currently around 3-1/2 in favor of the Nets. They should be able to cover that but at the same time, the Bucks have been playing OK at home and bad on the road. Is this the game where they pull one out or at least keep it down to the wire and cover the line?
The next game in the NBA tonight has the league's worst team, the Miami Heat going to play the best in the west, the LA Lakers. Miami will be trying to avoid losing 14 straight road game, which hasn't happened since the end of the 1990-1991 season. Meanwhile, the Lakers are doing the completely opposite. A win tonight would give them 10 straight and put them at 13-1 for the month of February. That great game play has moved the Lakers to the top of the West and just 2 wins shy of their total from last season.
The line has this game at 13-1/2 for the Lakers of course. It is a large number and even if you bought some points and pushed it a bit higher I would still be careful on betting against the Lakers. They are enjoying themselves and playing great ball, which is a combination that is hard to beat.
Finally, I get to the last game in the NBA tonight and it's a match up between two of the teams battling for the lead in the Southwest division. The Dallas Mavericks head to San Antonio to play the Spurs in what should be a great game. I will be watching this one to see if Jason Kidd can continue to play as well as he has in the last 2 games. He is helping the team pass more, as the Mavericks only had assists on 55% of their field goal this season, but that number is 68 percent in the last three games. It is helping Dallas become more of a passing team and opening up the court. The Spurs are playing well too as they are 23-5 at home and have won 6 straight. They did struggle a bit against the Hawks in their last game, but managed to win.
The line has moved up a half point from 4-1/2 to 5 in favor of the Spurs. You may want to have a look at this one if you think the Mav's can cover that or even possibly win straight out, as the moneyline is at +180 if you take Dallas.
That's the NBA tonight. Look at the games and see if any fit into your low risk betting strategy. Remember, you should always balance the risk of the bet with how many units you are going to bet on it.
The SportsBettingChamp System is now an incredible 63-1 on the season. It's not too late for you to turn your season around and start winning with the system.
Plus as a bonus, spring training is kicking in and the baseball juices are flowing. The SportsBettingChamp System has a great record as an MLB betting system and I can hardly wait for those picks to come in. Avoid the falling stock markets and bet on winning low risk picks from this system. It is the best MLB betting system and its' record speaks for itself. Check it out today!!

3 Way NBA Trade - Cav's Get What They Need?
Another big trade has happened in the NBA. This time it's in the Eastern Conference. It is a complicated 3-way deal betweeen the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls and Seattle Supersonics.
Eleven players will have new homes and here is how it breaks down. The Cavaliers get center Ben Wallace and forward Joe Smith from the Bulls in exchange for guard Larry Hughes, forwards Drew Gooden and Cedric Simmons, and guard Shannon Brown.
And from the Supersonics, the Cavaliers get forward Wally Szczerbiak and guard Delonte West for forwards Ira Newble and Donyell Marshall.
Seattle gets guard Adrian Griffin from the Bulls. And the Bulls also give up their 2nd round pick in 2009 to the Cavaliers.
It looks like Cleveland will benefit from this trade the most. The defensive play of Wallace will help them down the middle although he hasn't put up a lot of points this year, averaging only 5.1 points and 8.8 rebounds, his worst numbers in 8 years. His presence though, will be a boost to the team in and out of the locker room and he has playoff experience too. The same can be said for veteran Smith who is averaging 11.2 points and 5.3 rebounds. He adds some flexibility off of the bench and brings more experience to the Cav's.
The points should come from Szczerbiak who has averaged 13.1 points this year and is on a hot streak as of late. On Tuesday he scored 24 points for the Supersonics in their come from behind win over Memphis. He will be open more often in Cleveland as well as teams like to double team Lebron. I think he is the key for the Cavaliers in this trade.
Overall, sports bettors should watch for a strengthened Cavalier team, although there may be a bit longer then usual adjustment period. The reason for this is that they traded away 60% of their starting lineup. Just watch to see how everyone fits in, as the lack of regulars will put extra pressure on the new arrivals.

Kidd Traded To The Mavericks - The Sports Betting Affect
The trade is finally done and Jason Kidd has gone from the New Jersey Nets and is back with the Dallas Mavericks. It's a big eight-player deal that will send Kidd, forward Malik Allen and guard Antoine Wright to Dallas for the young point guard Devin Harris, center DeSagana Diop and Maurice Ager, plus retired forward Keith Van Horn and Trenton Hassell. New Jersey also gets two 1st round draft picks and $3 million in cash.
The Mavericks get the point guard that they needed and now look a lot better heading into the final half of the season. The veteran presence of Kidd will definitely help them out. They are going to be counting on his leadership for the playoff drive and the playoffs themselves. He will also help Dirk Nowitski's game as he will now have Kidd to feed him the ball for some easy points.
The main player that the Nets get is Devin Harris. He is averaging 14.4 points and 5.3 assists and the Nets are hoping he will continue to develop and become a solid aquisition. It is obvious with their 23-30 record and having lost 14 of their last 20 that they are looking to the future. The cash and 1st round draft picks will also help them rebuild.
This is the 3rd big trade in the Western Conference, with the LA Lakers and Phoenix Suns both having made large deals before the all-star break. Now 3 of the power house teams have made deals and are positioning themselves for the playoffs. With Thursday being the deadline are there more trades out there?
For sports bettors, you need to take a look at this deal and see what it means for the odds in the next few games for each team. With all of this happening today, you will probably see the players with their new teams tomorrow night. The Mavericks are on the road and will be playing the strong New Orleans Hornets, who went into the all-star break with the highest winning percentage in the west. Watch this line closely as it will take a game or two for Kidd to settle in.
The Nets also play tomorrow and will be at home against the Chicago Bulls. The Nets will also take some time to adjust to Kidd not being there to lead them, even though he wasn't as good this year at that. They will still feel the loss. I would avoid them at look at Chicago once a good line comes out.
Which ever way you view this, have fun with it. Take a look at both teams scorecards and make the necessary changes. Obviously this make the Mavericks a stronger team so be sure to reflect that. Make the necessary change to the Nets and downgrade them overall.
You also should get started with The SportsBettingChamp System. Don't believe the skeptics because this system really does work. At 60-1 how can you be losing? What's Your NBA Pick Tonight? Are You 60-1?
Do you have your NBA picks for tonight? Are they from the Sports Betting Champ System?
Tonight look at the New Jersey Nets going to play the Toronto Raptors. The line currently has Toronto as an 8 point favorite. However, the Raptors will be without head coach Sam Mitchell again as he is away until after the all-star break following the death of his father-in-law.
Toronto is also on a 3 game skid and is dealing with a knee injury to Chris Bosh that will have him playing with a sore knee tonight. Starting point guard T.J. Ford is questionable and could miss the game all together.
Put all of this together and then add in the fact that New Jersey is on a 3 game winning streak. They have also held their opponents to under an average of 86.7 points during that streak. I will let you decide who the winner will be but 8 points seems like a lot to cover for the Raptors right now.
I am playing the Sports Betting Champ System picks. Why? Because the best sports betting system is now 60-1. Just an update on a great NBA betting system. Get your winning picks today!

Free NBA Picks For Friday & Sports Betting Champ Update
In the NBA tonight there is a lot of action. There are also a lot of high point spreads out there. Take a look and see how they fit into your risk assesment.
Most bettors will be able to find some value. Remember, that statistically once the line goes over 12 the odds that the favorite is going to win drops dramatically. Some of tonight's lines are close to that spread so watch them closely and move in.
Another way to take advantage of this and make the spread even bigger is to buy points. It is something most experienced bettors do. Only certain sportsbooks offer this as it moves the advantage to the sports bettors side when used in the right situations.
The best sportsbook and the one that I use the most is BetUs. They have great lines on games and allow you to buy points. Check them out.
For the NBA tonight I am going with the Orlando Magic over the Los Angeles Lakers. The line is against them by 1-1/2 but this doesn't amount to much. The Lakers are having to contend with Kobe Bryant and his swollen finger which resulted in him getting a season low 6 points this week. They are also facing a hot Magic team. Pau Gasol will have his work cut out for him against Dwight Howard. The Magic also have the hot hand of Hedo Turkoglu.
The next game that I like is the Boston Celtics against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Celtics will be without Kevin Garnett, who is also missing his first chance to play in Minnesota since being traded. They have still been playing well and should cover the 6-1/2 points. I would bet this one now as that line may grow. The Celtics have scored more then 110 in 3 of their last 4 games while Minnesota has averaged only 91.2 points per game.
That is all I have for tonight, so if you want more picks get The SportsBettingChamp System It now has a record of 55-1 for the 2007-2008 NBA season. Start the winning today!

SportsBettingChamp & NBA Trade Action
Well, all of us users of The SportsBettingChamp System are now 54-1 on our bets because of the non-stop winning picks. Two more wins last night and the bankroll keeps on growing.
The system gave us wins last night picking San Antonio over the Indiana Pacers. This was an easy win for the Spurs and they covered by a lot, winning 116-89. Indiana was actually tied with the Spurs at the half, but folded in the 2nd half to lose by 27.
The 2nd winning pick from The SportsBettingChamp System was the Los Angeles Lakers visiting the New Jersey Nets. The Lakers played well, especially in the 2nd half. This game was also tied after two quarters and just like the other game, one team stepped it up in the 2nd half. The Lakers were that team and won 105 to 90 with the 15 points more then covering the spread.
The newly acquired Pau Gasol led the team with 24 points in his first game with the team. He picked up Kobe Bryant's slack, as Bryant only had 6 points, his first single point game in over a year. The new pick up came at the right time for the Lakers.
At this time in the NBA season you start to hear all sorts of trade rumors. One that seems to be true and nearing an actual deal is the Phoenix Suns acquiring Shaquille O'Neal from the Miami Heat for Shawn Marion. I myslef do not think that it would be a good thing for the Suns. Shaq is too run down and would end up spending more time on the sidelines with injury then having any sort of impact on the floor. Post a comment and let me know what you think about this possibility. If this trade happens, I will be avoiding the Suns for a few games to see how the team responds and suggest you do the same.
Get The SportsBettingChamp System today and don't let another winning NBA pick pass you by. They keep coming so don't delay.

Sports Betting Champ Picks 2 More NBA Winners
The winning didn't stop for The Sports Betting Champ System last night. Add two more wins and that will make the total 52 on the NBA season as of today and still only 1 loss.
The best NBA betting system there is picked the win by the LA Clippers over the New York Knicks. The Clippers knocked New York around a bit and beat them by 9. That easily covered the line, even without extra points. Corey Maggette scored 19 points in his return to the lineup and it all helped.
I think the Knicks were still in some sort of New York Super Bowl daze and the same could be said for the crowd, as the biggest cheers of the night were for some of the New York Giants players in attendance. Three of the Super Bowl Champions were there, defensive backs Sam Madison, R.W. McQuarters and Kevin Dockery and they got a standing ovation that went on and on.
The second game picked by the Sports Betting Champ was the Dallas Mavericks against the Orlando Magic. The system picked the Mavericks and was right again. The Mavericks pulled out a 107 to 98 win thanks to 28 points by Josh Howard and Dirk Nowitzki helping with 20 points and nine rebounds.
There are still more wins coming up this week with The Sports Betting Champ System, so line them up, place your bets, as I will be mine and get winning now.
Cheers,

In The NBA, One Night Changes Everything
What a difference a night makes. If you look at the home and home games that just happened you can see what I am talking about. There were two sets and both had the same results.
The home team won in all cases. The first games were between the Toronto Raptors and the Washington Wizards. The first game was tight as the Wizards won by only 4 and they had to take it to OT to get the win.
The next night they played in Toronto and the Raptors handed it to Washinton, punishing them by 19 points. What a difference a night makes! There wasn't any OT there.
The other home and home series was between the Chicago Bulls and the Minnesota Timberwolves. The first game was in Chicago and the Bulls won fairly easily and by 11 points. More then covering the spread.
Last night the Bulls went to Minnesota and, of course, the result was opposite. The Timberwolves pulled out the win by 16 point.
So, what can we learn from this? You can see that in both sets of games the home team won each time. While it was close in OT at Washington, they still pulled it out. I think in the 2nd games of the home and homes all of the travelling teams were a bit wore out and so you then saw bigger point differentials.
So I would watch for closer games in the first game of the home and home series and more points in the 2nd game. Take a look at the lines and see if they are reflecting the back to back travel for both teams.
In the NBA tonight, there are 4 games. It seems like all of the leagues top teams are in action and some of them against each other. Look for some good battles with the Celtics hosting the Mavericks and the Lakers visiting Detroit.
I am going to avoid all of the power-house matchups myself. I am looking at Cleveland going into Seattle. The line is at 3-1/2 against the Cavaliers, but they have been playing well, even without Anderson Varejo. Lebron James picked it up last game and should continue to do that. Against the lowly Supersonics, I look for the Cavaliers to cover tonight.

SportsBettingChamp And The NBA Tonight
The SportsBettingChamp System gives you the best picks in the NBA. To get them you need to have the system. It is the only way to join in on this years great winning NBA season.
And I know that people looking for an MLB betting system should take a look at The SportsBettingChamp System too! Last years record for MLB bets was 67 wins and 3 losses. I know it's cold out but the baseball season will be here before we know it.
For the NBA tonight make sure that you run The SportsBettingChamp System to get the picks. After that take a look at the injuries. There are a few key ones out there right now.
The first one is Kevin Garnett. When the Boston Celtics roll into Miami, he will be out. It will be the 2nd straight game he has been out. Garnett, the Celtics' second-leading scorer (19.2) and leading rebounder (9.9), was out for the his first game of the year, the 96-93 loss to Orlando on Sunday.
Boston is currently a 6 point favorite and I still think they are a good pick tonight. Miami is dealing with a few injuries f its own, especially down the middle and is definitely not as good as Orlando.
I also like the Detroit Pistons over the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers have been slumping and Detroit is looking for it's 3rd straight win. The Pistons have played well against the Pacers this year and think they can cover the 7-1/2 points. It is a bit riskier then the Celtics match-up because of the higher spread, so bet on the low side if you decide to go with it.
Cheers,
Ed Manning

NBA Today - Good Match-ups Galore
There are a lot games in the NBA today and tonight. How are all of The SportsBettingChamp System users out there doing on them?
So far this NBA season the betting system has a record of 45 wins and 1 loss. Not too bad and I like all of the security knowing that it is on track for another season of wins. I am up enough now that I don't have to worry about things and am looking for some bets that are strong and pay out some more.
In the NBA today the Phoenix Suns are hot and have won their 6th out of their last 7 games. They had a strong 4th quarter and beat the Chicago Bulls by 10. More then covering the spread that was out there of 7-1/2 points. Even on the road the Suns are a good play if they are the underdog and have less then 8 points to cover.
The Boston Celtics knew they were in for a tough battle against the Orlando Magic and their expectations were right! The Magic pulled out a 3 point win much to the dismay of the sports bettors who were with Boston and thought they could cover. I could see why it would be an enticing bet when the Celtics only had to cover 3 points.
It went to the wire and the last second jump shot from Hedo Turkoglu was enough for the 3 point win for the Magic, the 2nd time this year they have beat Boston at home.
Remember the injuries I keep mentioning to check and follow? Well, if you bet on Boston, it was risky. This was their first game all season without Kevin Garnett. He missed it with an abdominal strain. So, make sure you watch his status for their next game. It will make a difference.
Cheers,

NBA Tonight - Games To Watch
There are some good match-ups in the NBA tonight.
The Denver Nuggets are visiting the Los Angeles Lakers. Both teams have similar records overall, but the Lakers have had a lot of success at home this year. That may change, as the the injury to Andrew Bynum is having a big impact on the team. He is a large part of the reason why the Lakers have played so well. The line has the Lakers as a 4 point favorite right now.
A game to watch the point spread on is the Seattle SuperSonics visiting the Houston Rockets. It is currently at 12 and when you start to see big numbers like that you need to pay attention. Once the spread goes over 10 points or so there is a big statistical drop in the favorites not being able to cover. So, have a look and see what you think. Seattle has lost 10 in a row, which is a bit worrisome, but Tracy McGrady is just back from injury and not 100%.
For all of these games you need to do your own home work. My picks are based on my own research as well as information from The SportsBettingChamp System. The NBA tonight and every night is a lot easier when you have a solid sports betting system to back up your own work on the NBA covers and games.
Have a great day,
Ed Manning

NBA Tonight - Quick Picks
The weekend is here and it is time to spend even more time in front of the new big screen. Gotta love the HD, I am sure it was invented for watching sports.
Take a look at the Atlanta Hawks over the Washington Wizards. The spread is only 2.5 and the moneyline is OK too.
I also like Boston, as they are a power house and 9 points doesn't seem too high right now. They will be looking to bounce back from a loss in there last outing to the Bobcats, but it was a blip that they should quickly recover from.
Have a good weekend.

SportsBettingChamp As Part Of A Winning Betting System
Since my last post a lot of people have been asking me how I make my NBA picks every night as well as picks for other sports. The short answer is that I use my own system that I have developed over the years.
When I say I use a sports betting system, I hope you don't envision me locked away in a room with papers posted all over the walls and a cluttered desk full of books and notes written on all sorts of pieces of paper.
Well, OK, its kind of like that, but everything is in order. I keep things as simple and straight forward as I can and make sure it's all very organized. This saves time as you don't waste time by looking for things all of the time and having to redo things you have lost.
For NBA picks the first thing I do is run The SportsBettingChamp System. This will generally give me picks that I then use to start the next step of my analysis.
I then look at the team stats for both teams in every match-up. Look at their overall win/loss records and where teams are in the standings versus who they are playing. I also like to compare road versus home records for the teams. This gives me an idea of how the teams have been doing in either situation and does influence my decision. I like to look for strong road teams that are going against teams with average to poor home records.
I also use the last 10 win/loss record and the current winning or losing streak records. This gives you a feel for the how the team is doing in general and what kind of momentum they will have. Make sure you look at both teams and make a determination of who is "favored" in each statistic.
I then review the injury reports and see if any impact players are injured on either team. I record that information and again, use it to help make my decision. If there are players out, then you need to down grade that team. Make sure you also see if it is reflected in the Vegas sports odds line.
I don't use match-up histories, etc. as I don't think that type of information is as important as what a team is currently doing, its injuries and current records.
The next thing I review are the different lines at 4 to 5 sports books. I check them when I get up and usually two or three more time to see if anything has moved on the games I am considering betting on.
If you see a spread larger then what you think it should be on a team with an impact player injured, then take advantage of it. Use the knowledge you have gathered from looking at the match-ups and team stats. Again, if you see spreads that seems weak against what the stats are telling you take advantage of it.
Sometimes the advantage is actually not betting on a game because of your research on the stats.
Use should also use your statistics to come up with other possible games to bet. Ones that aren't determined by The SportsBettingChamp System because they aren't low risk. These picks may be a bit more risky, but if you think are under valued based on the lines and the ranks/values you have given each team based on your research, you should consider betting it.
That is a basic run down of how I do it. I made it sound as simple as I could and really, it isn't that hard. You don't need to be any type of sports betting genius, just willing to work hard on your system and stick with it. You record for the season isn't based on your last 2 picks. Sports betting systems can make this easier for some sports and also give you a comfort level.
By starting with The SportsBettingChamp System, you get a jump on which teams fit into a low risk betting strategy. And once you have confirmed those picks, you will still have a lot of time left to look for other possible picks with good value. The system saves you a lot of time.
So, try this for the NBA tonight and see what you come up with. Pick, place and win!

NBA Tonight - The Betting Sports Game
There are a lot of games on Sunday's NBA schedule. The season is approaching the half way point and most teams are taking a hard look at where they are in the standings. Now is the time where GM's will make a move if they have to. Some will do it to strengthen a strong team and shore up an area that may need some depth. Other teams may be looking to unload a player or to so they can rebuild with some youth or change the chemistry of a team. Watch for any trade action and always take it into account before placing bets.
Tonight when the Philedelphia 76ers visit the Denver Nuggets prepare yourself for a tough contest as both teams have been playing at similar levels over the last 10 games. Allen Iverson will be looking for a better outing when he faces his old team for just the 2nd time. In the first game Iverson was ejected after his 2nd technical foul and Denver lost 108-97.
Now, Iverson is the leagues 3rd highest scorer, averaging 26.6 points and has averaged even higher, 29.7/game, in his last 10 games. Combine his points with those of Carmelo Anthony and you have the NBA's leading offensive scoring tandem. The Nuggets should be able to win and cover the 8 points that you can find on the spread for this game. The over also looks attractive at 204.
The other game to look at has the Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Indiana Pacers. The Lakers are hot right now. They are looking for their 7th straight win against a Pacer team that is just starting a 5 game road trip. LA has averaged 107 points per game, 3rd in the NBA, and is ahead of that pace with 123 averaged per game in their last 3 games. They have also won 11 of their last 14 and are beating opponents by and average of 7.8 points per game.
This all adds up to the Lakers winning against the spread, which is at 8.5 points. They have beat the Pacers eight straight times at the Staples center, have one of the strongest benches and are also playing good defence thanks in part to the success of Andrew Bynum.
Have fun..
