Lebron, His Finger And The Cavaliers

Lebron James is still out with his sprained finger and his return date still seems unclear. He has missed the last two games with the injury to his left index finger and today coach Mike Brown didn't make it sound like he would be back for in the near future.

He was quoted as saying: ''It's a slow process, the injury he has. It's a funny injury when you're talking about your knuckles and your fingers. When you get that ball in your hand, you have a lot of guys swiping at it. Officials think he's the strongest human in the world, but it's a tough thing to have to deal with.''

To me that doesn't sound reassuring, so I would avoid the Cavaliers if you are looking for safe bets the rest of this week or for the weekend. In the betting sports game you want to avoid teams with their star player out. I know this sounds simple, but a lot of people still bet teams with high profile injuries because they think the rest of the team is stronger then they actually are or they like to discount what the star actually contributes to the team each and every game.

If you are playing a low risk betting strategy you can't do this as you need to rely on reliable, consistent team performance that most likely isn't going to happen when the core player is sidelined. The Cavaliers are a good example of this. Although Lebron has missed only two games, the Cav's are on a 4 game skid. There hasn't been anyone picking up the points, assists or overall on court presence that is missing when he is out.

Wait for him to return and place your bets elsewhere until then. Cleveland could get a boost now that they have signed Anderson Varejao. That is if he returns to form quicly and can get over the dispute and any negative reaction from his team mates. But remember, even if they win a few without him, still avoid betting on them until Lebron is back.
Be disciplined and you can avoid the risks on the Vegas sports odds line and develop a NBA winning system that produce cash for your bankroll.

A solid sports betting system is the key to increasing your bankroll safely.
The SportsBettingChamp System, developed by John Morrison, will give you a baseline of wins to grow your cash bankroll and give you the money to place higher risk bets with higher returns.
