In The NBA, One Night Changes Everything

What a difference a night makes. If you look at the home and home games that just happened you can see what I am talking about. There were two sets and both had the same results.

The home team won in all cases. The first games were between the Toronto Raptors and the Washington Wizards. The first game was tight as the Wizards won by only 4 and they had to take it to OT to get the win.

The next night they played in Toronto and the Raptors handed it to Washinton, punishing them by 19 points. What a difference a night makes! There wasn't any OT there.

The other home and home series was between the Chicago Bulls and the Minnesota Timberwolves. The first game was in Chicago and the Bulls won fairly easily and by 11 points. More then covering the spread.

Last night the Bulls went to Minnesota and, of course, the result was opposite. The Timberwolves pulled out the win by 16 point.

So, what can we learn from this? You can see that in both sets of games the home team won each time. While it was close in OT at Washington, they still pulled it out. I think in the 2nd games of the home and homes all of the travelling teams were a bit wore out and so you then saw bigger point differentials.

So I would watch for closer games in the first game of the home and home series and more points in the 2nd game. Take a look at the lines and see if they are reflecting the back to back travel for both teams.

In the NBA tonight, there are 4 games. It seems like all of the leagues top teams are in action and some of them against each other. Look for some good battles with the Celtics hosting the Mavericks and the Lakers visiting Detroit.

I am going to avoid all of the power-house matchups myself. I am looking at Cleveland going into Seattle. The line is at 3-1/2 against the Cavaliers, but they have been playing well, even without Anderson Varejo. Lebron James picked it up last game and should continue to do that. Against the lowly Supersonics, I look for the Cavaliers to cover tonight.

SportsBettingChamp And The NBA Tonight

The SportsBettingChamp System gives you the best picks in the NBA. To get them you need to have the system. It is the only way to join in on this years great winning NBA season.

And I know that people looking for an MLB betting system should take a look at The SportsBettingChamp System too! Last years record for MLB bets was 67 wins and 3 losses. I know it's cold out but the baseball season will be here before we know it.

For the NBA tonight make sure that you run The SportsBettingChamp System to get the picks. After that take a look at the injuries. There are a few key ones out there right now.

The first one is Kevin Garnett. When the Boston Celtics roll into Miami, he will be out. It will be the 2nd straight game he has been out. Garnett, the Celtics' second-leading scorer (19.2) and leading rebounder (9.9), was out for the his first game of the year, the 96-93 loss to Orlando on Sunday.

Boston is currently a 6 point favorite and I still think they are a good pick tonight. Miami is dealing with a few injuries f its own, especially down the middle and is definitely not as good as Orlando.

I also like the Detroit Pistons over the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers have been slumping and Detroit is looking for it's 3rd straight win. The Pistons have played well against the Pacers this year and think they can cover the 7-1/2 points. It is a bit riskier then the Celtics match-up because of the higher spread, so bet on the low side if you decide to go with it.

Cheers,

NBA Today - Good Match-ups Galore

There are a lot games in the NBA today and tonight. How are all of The SportsBettingChamp System users out there doing on them?

So far this NBA season the betting system has a record of 45 wins and 1 loss. Not too bad and I like all of the security knowing that it is on track for another season of wins. I am up enough now that I don't have to worry about things and am looking for some bets that are strong and pay out some more.

In the NBA today the Phoenix Suns are hot and have won their 6th out of their last 7 games. They had a strong 4th quarter and beat the Chicago Bulls by 10. More then covering the spread that was out there of 7-1/2 points. Even on the road the Suns are a good play if they are the underdog and have less then 8 points to cover.

The Boston Celtics knew they were in for a tough battle against the Orlando Magic and their expectations were right! The Magic pulled out a 3 point win much to the dismay of the sports bettors who were with Boston and thought they could cover. I could see why it would be an enticing bet when the Celtics only had to cover 3 points.

It went to the wire and the last second jump shot from Hedo Turkoglu was enough for the 3 point win for the Magic, the 2nd time this year they have beat Boston at home.

Remember the injuries I keep mentioning to check and follow? Well, if you bet on Boston, it was risky. This was their first game all season without Kevin Garnett. He missed it with an abdominal strain. So, make sure you watch his status for their next game. It will make a difference.

Cheers,

Sports Betting Champ Review on Costs

Below is an excerpt from an article I published called "Sports Betting Champ Review on Costs".

It shows how and why The Sports Betting Champ System is a cost effective sports betting system to use for making sports picks. When its winning percentage is also taken into account, the reasons to use the system grow as it wins more then most handicappers by a large margin.

Here is the article:
--------------------------------------------------------------------

When The Sports Betting Champ System is reviewed on the basis of cost, you will see that it is a sports betting system that is very cost effective. When you review its' cost compared to the costs of getting the same type of information elsewhere the difference will stand out.

To get the same type of reliable information elsewhere you only have a few options and they are all quite expensive. The only truly reliable options are going to a professional sports handicapper or purchasing statistics sheets and using that information to determine picks.

Both of these have downsides, the first of which is the cost and with the statistic sheets time also becomes a major downside. There are of course the same old unreliable sources, such as free picks on the Internet or out of the local paper, by trying a "free" system , or using your old system that has never really worked.

First, lets start with The Sports Betting Champ System. It has a one time cost and you can use it for years. You can then use the system and its parameters to make picks that have won at a great percentage over years, not months. You also get picks emailed to you by John Morrison, so if you choose not to run the system yourself, you can just use the picks that are emailed to you.

So, basically you get a winning sports betting system and emailed picks, both for only one payment and both with no expiration and almost no time required if desired.

Now lets move to the services of a professional sports handicappers. There are a lot of these types of services available, so the first thing you need to do is to spend a lot if time determining which handicapper is the one to go with.

NBA Tonight - Games To Watch

There are some good match-ups in the NBA tonight.

The Denver Nuggets are visiting the Los Angeles Lakers. Both teams have similar records overall, but the Lakers have had a lot of success at home this year. That may change, as the the injury to Andrew Bynum is having a big impact on the team. He is a large part of the reason why the Lakers have played so well. The line has the Lakers as a 4 point favorite right now.

A game to watch the point spread on is the Seattle SuperSonics visiting the Houston Rockets. It is currently at 12 and when you start to see big numbers like that you need to pay attention. Once the spread goes over 10 points or so there is a big statistical drop in the favorites not being able to cover. So, have a look and see what you think. Seattle has lost 10 in a row, which is a bit worrisome, but Tracy McGrady is just back from injury and not 100%.

For all of these games you need to do your own home work. My picks are based on my own research as well as information from The SportsBettingChamp System. The NBA tonight and every night is a lot easier when you have a solid sports betting system to back up your own work on the NBA covers and games.

Have a great day,

NBA Tonight & The Sports Betting Champ System

I hope you are all using The Sport Betting Champ System and winning like so many people are that come to this site. I like to hear from readers and newsletter subscribers about their wins and how much they like using the system itself.

Keep it up!!I bet you are glad you bought the system early and have had a great NBA season with it. To those that haven't started with it yet, there is still time left to use it for the rest of the NBA season .

To all you people looking for an MLB betting system, this is the sports betting system for you too. It wins as much in the MLB as it does in the NBA. I think it is the best MLB betting system out there!

I haven't put any of my picks on here lately, but here are two that I came up with. As always, take a look at them and see if you are interested in them. You may not be, as every one's system is slightly different. But, for my system, they look good.

Take a look at the Portland Trail Blazers going into Miami to face the Heat. Well, there hasn't been much Heat lately and I am looking for Portland to win on the road. Shaquille O'Neal has a sore left knee that isn't helping and Miami has lost its last 11. Some people look at this and think the Heat may be due for a win, but tonight isn't it.

The second game to watch would be the New York Knicks visiting the Washington Wizards. The Knicks have been playing well lately for some reason and the line is giving them 8 points currently. While the Wizards have been playing well for most of the season, I have a feeling that they won't be able to cover the 8 points. They just lost to the New York and with the way the Knicks playing better lately, I don't think that the Wizards can cover.

Have a good weekend and use the time to try out The Sports Betting Champ System. It is the best NBA betting system and a great investment for the serious sports bettor.

Keep Winning,

Sports Betting Champ & Bankroll Management

Welcome back. I hope everyone had a good weekend placing winning sports bets. With the NFL playoffs in full swing and the NBA & NHL in mid-season, there is no lack of betting opportunities. That is why managing your bankroll and determining where to place your bets is even more important.

You need to be disciplined and stick to your low risk betting strategy. This is hard to do, but can be made better if you decide to follow a sports betting system, such as The Sports Betting Champ System. Once you have made your picks you need to determine how much of your bankroll to bet.

This is probably the area where most people make mistakes. They bet too much of their bankroll and if the picks are bad, they won't have a bankroll after a few losses. Losses do come, but most betting strategies say that if you are winning 55-60% of your bets you are doing well if you manage your bankroll correctly.

To keep your betting bankroll growing, you need to manage your bankroll properly. After you determine the risk factor of your picks you then need to match that up to the percentage of your bankroll to risk. This should generally be between 1-5% of your bankroll. When you use The Sports Betting Champ System you can occasionally raise that to 7% at the most. This allows you to maximize the winnings from the systems picks.

When you first start out sports betting, especially if you are starting with a small bankroll, like under $500, your bets may seem small. That is OK and don't let that impression make you bet more. Once you start winning, your bankroll will grow. Then, because your betting amounts are based on a percentage of your bankroll, your bets will grow too! Again I want to warn you, BE DISCIPLINED!!

Stick to these guidelines to keep your bankroll growing and win at The Betting Sports Game. Also, try to pick and use a winning sports betting system. Follow its picks, do your homework and you will win.

You can get more information on this topic and many more by signing up to my newsletter.

Bet and Win,

NBA Tonight - Quick Picks

The weekend is here and it is time to spend even more time in front of the new big screen. Gotta love the HD, I am sure it was invented for watching sports.

Take a look at the Atlanta Hawks over the Washington Wizards. The spread is only 2.5 and the moneyline is OK too.

I also like Boston, as they are a power house and 9 points doesn't seem too high right now. They will be looking to bounce back from a loss in there last outing to the Bobcats, but it was a blip that they should quickly recover from.

Have a good weekend.

SportsBettingChamp As Part Of A Winning Betting System

Since my last post a lot of people have been asking me how I make my NBA picks every night as well as picks for other sports. The short answer is that I use my own system that I have developed over the years.

When I say I use a sports betting system, I hope you don't envision me locked away in a room with papers posted all over the walls and a cluttered desk full of books and notes written on all sorts of pieces of paper.

Well, OK, its kind of like that, but everything is in order. I keep things as simple and straight forward as I can and make sure it's all very organized. This saves time as you don't waste time by looking for things all of the time and having to redo things you have lost.

For NBA picks the first thing I do is run The SportsBettingChamp System. This will generally give me picks that I then use to start the next step of my analysis.

I then look at the team stats for both teams in every match-up. Look at their overall win/loss records and where teams are in the standings versus who they are playing. I also like to compare road versus home records for the teams. This gives me an idea of how the teams have been doing in either situation and does influence my decision. I like to look for strong road teams that are going against teams with average to poor home records.

I also use the last 10 win/loss record and the current winning or losing streak records. This gives you a feel for the how the team is doing in general and what kind of momentum they will have. Make sure you look at both teams and make a determination of who is "favored" in each statistic.

I then review the injury reports and see if any impact players are injured on either team. I record that information and again, use it to help make my decision. If there are players out, then you need to down grade that team. Make sure you also see if it is reflected in the Vegas sports odds line.

I don't use match-up histories, etc. as I don't think that type of information is as important as what a team is currently doing, its injuries and current records.

The next thing I review are the different lines at 4 to 5 sports books. I check them when I get up and usually two or three more time to see if anything has moved on the games I am considering betting on.

If you see a spread larger then what you think it should be on a team with an impact player injured, then take advantage of it. Use the knowledge you have gathered from looking at the match-ups and team stats. Again, if you see spreads that seems weak against what the stats are telling you take advantage of it.

Sometimes the advantage is actually not betting on a game because of your research on the stats.

Use should also use your statistics to come up with other possible games to bet. Ones that aren't determined by The SportsBettingChamp System because they aren't low risk. These picks may be a bit more risky, but if you think are under valued based on the lines and the ranks/values you have given each team based on your research, you should consider betting it.

That is a basic run down of how I do it. I made it sound as simple as I could and really, it isn't that hard. You don't need to be any type of sports betting genius, just willing to work hard on your system and stick with it. You record for the season isn't based on your last 2 picks. Sports betting systems can make this easier for some sports and also give you a comfort level.

By starting with The SportsBettingChamp System, you get a jump on which teams fit into a low risk betting strategy. And once you have confirmed those picks, you will still have a lot of time left to look for other possible picks with good value. The system saves you a lot of time.

So, try this for the NBA tonight and see what you come up with. Pick, place and win!

NBA Picks And The Betting Sports Game

Wow, I had a good night last night and the two picks that I posted hit and so did the over on the Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets game! You can win like this too by developing a strong low risk betting strategy.

I just want to remind all of the readers of the blog that the picks I post are based on my complete low risk betting strategy.

They are not picks directly from The SportsBettingChamp System. Generally they fall in line with the system but sometimes they can be different. The SportsBettingChamp system is a valuable part of my low risk betting strategy, but not the only part of it and this can result in differences.

So, if you are coming to the blog and looking for picks from The SportsBettingChamp System you are going to have to purchase it, because the picks I post are not directly from the system. So, get the system, do your homework and place your bets.....

NBA Tonight - The Betting Sports Game

There are a lot of games on Sunday's NBA schedule. The season is approaching the half way point and most teams are taking a hard look at where they are in the standings. Now is the time where GM's will make a move if they have to. Some will do it to strengthen a strong team and shore up an area that may need some depth. Other teams may be looking to unload a player or to so they can rebuild with some youth or change the chemistry of a team. Watch for any trade action and always take it into account before placing bets.

Tonight when the Philedelphia 76ers visit the Denver Nuggets prepare yourself for a tough contest as both teams have been playing at similar levels over the last 10 games. Allen Iverson will be looking for a better outing when he faces his old team for just the 2nd time. In the first game Iverson was ejected after his 2nd technical foul and Denver lost 108-97.

Now, Iverson is the leagues 3rd highest scorer, averaging 26.6 points and has averaged even higher, 29.7/game, in his last 10 games. Combine his points with those of Carmelo Anthony and you have the NBA's leading offensive scoring tandem. The Nuggets should be able to win and cover the 8 points that you can find on the spread for this game. The over also looks attractive at 204.

The other game to look at has the Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Indiana Pacers. The Lakers are hot right now. They are looking for their 7th straight win against a Pacer team that is just starting a 5 game road trip. LA has averaged 107 points per game, 3rd in the NBA, and is ahead of that pace with 123 averaged per game in their last 3 games. They have also won 11 of their last 14 and are beating opponents by and average of 7.8 points per game.

This all adds up to the Lakers winning against the spread, which is at 8.5 points. They have beat the Pacers eight straight times at the Staples center, have one of the strongest benches and are also playing good defence thanks in part to the success of Andrew Bynum.

Have fun..

NBA Tonight & The Sports Betting Champ

It's a light schedule in the NBA tonight. Here is a quick run-down of the games and my opinion on what "should" happen. I will look at the NBA covers and give out some NBA spread tips.

The first game has the Seattle SuperSonics going into Phoenix to play the Suns. The line is going hard against Phoenix, giving Seattle 14.5 points. Even so, I still think the Suns will cover. Phoenix is on a 4 game run and Seattle is probably going to be without their two top point getter's, Kevin Durant and Chris Wilcox. Durant missed Monday's game with a sprained finger and is doubtful for tonight. The Suns are on a 3-0 run after ending December with a 10-5 record. Phoenix is also 19-0 when entering the fourth quarter with a lead, just a little side note....

I am going to get back on Portland even though they let me down the last time I played them. The TrailBlazers are heading into Chicago to play the Bulls tonight and should manage to win. They are currently a 3.5 point dog and with that line they should cover at the very least. Portland has averaged 102.6 points per game in their last 14 and Chicago has averaged 105.5 under interim coach Jim Boylan. With the over/under currently at 187.5 make sure you have a look at betting that.

Lastly is the game between the San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets. To me, this is the tightest game to call in the NBA tonight. Both teams have similar records in their last 120 games, Denver typically plays well at home. However, the Spurs did beat the Nuggets in 5 in last year's NBA play-offs and won 102-91 at home in the first meeting between these two teams on Dec. 15th. I am leaning towards taking the Spurs and the 1.5 points.

For all of these games you need to do your own home work. My picks are based on my research as well as information from The SportsBettingChamp System. The NBA tonight and every night is a lot easier when you have a solid sports betting system to back up your own work on the NBA covers and games.

I have also added a new link under the sports book section. Please have a look at Pinnacle Sports when you are deciding where to place your money for the NBA tonight and all of your sports betting or casino games. It is the top sports book on the Internet and offers some great odds and bonuses.

Sports Betting Champ - A Winning System

How did your holiday betting on sports go? I had a great one in the NBA and posted a big gain into my bankroll. I broke even in the NFL and that is why I only bet a few games there versus the majority of my bets going to the NBA.

I always find that the NBA is a lot safer to bet on and easier to find consistent winners with The SportsBettingChamp System and always recommend it to anyone that asks. If you follow the NBA, you know that you can predict a lot of the final positions of teams just based on last years record and the player movements that each team has. The final positions are a lot more static then they are in the NFL and therefore with a sports betting system you can easily win most if not all of your bets. Whenever the system sees steady, consistent statistical trends, it knows that the odds of that happening again are likely and based on that and some other calculations, it may recommend it to bet on.

When you look at the NFL for comparison, you will see that there are fewer static teams then the NBA. The standings move around far more on a year to year basis. This will give the betting system less consistent statistical data and in turn, the system will recommend fewer of these games. The NFL is definitely a sport that is harder to win at consistently then the NBA. When you look at the Vegas sports odds line you will also notice that trend. The guys in Vegas know their stuff too!

There are far fewer large gain opportunities in the NBA then there are in the NFL in the Vegas line. Again, that is due to the games being easier to predict based on statistical analysis. That is the game between the odds makers and the bettors looking for opportunities. But don't let the lack of large gains make you think you shouldn't be placing bets in the NBA. It is actually an advantage for the smart sports bettor and a key to winning the betting sports game. You need the safe bets, the easy wins that still increase you bankroll, but don't give you a high risk factor. Those are the games that will keep you on the winning track or get you there if you aren't there now.

That is why I still bet NFL games this weekend. There are still good opportunities there, but they have a higher risk as explained above. I know I can still safely bet some of those games without putting my overall bankroll at risk. This is because I have a strong foundation of bets that are going to win in the NBA. So, if I win the weekend's NFL bets I am up A LOT. If I don't win them, I break even because of the betting systems bets. I said earlier I was 50/50, this week, so I broke even in the NFL, but put cash into the bankroll from my NBA bets.

Most people get so attached to their system that they are unwilling to change it, even if it loses over and over again. But if you are losing you need to change your system now and take advantage of the rest of the 2007 NBA season. I can see some great opportunities coming soon, so don't wait. Get The SportsBettingChamp System now and learn how safe betting is the right method to bankroll building.

The betting system does the analysis for you so you save time too! It would normally take hours and hours of number crunching everyday to try to come up with the quality of bets this system for the NBA alone. Save that time and make money off of the safe bets from the system. Then turn that time into money by using it to study the higher risk bets in the NFL and elsewhere. People who follow those steps win at the betting sports game.
