In The NBA, One Night Changes Everything

What a difference a night makes. If you look at the home and home games that just happened you can see what I am talking about. There were two sets and both had the same results.

The home team won in all cases. The first games were between the Toronto Raptors and the Washington Wizards. The first game was tight as the Wizards won by only 4 and they had to take it to OT to get the win.

The next night they played in Toronto and the Raptors handed it to Washinton, punishing them by 19 points. What a difference a night makes! There wasn't any OT there.

The other home and home series was between the Chicago Bulls and the Minnesota Timberwolves. The first game was in Chicago and the Bulls won fairly easily and by 11 points. More then covering the spread.

Last night the Bulls went to Minnesota and, of course, the result was opposite. The Timberwolves pulled out the win by 16 point.

So, what can we learn from this? You can see that in both sets of games the home team won each time. While it was close in OT at Washington, they still pulled it out. I think in the 2nd games of the home and homes all of the travelling teams were a bit wore out and so you then saw bigger point differentials.

So I would watch for closer games in the first game of the home and home series and more points in the 2nd game. Take a look at the lines and see if they are reflecting the back to back travel for both teams.

In the NBA tonight, there are 4 games. It seems like all of the leagues top teams are in action and some of them against each other. Look for some good battles with the Celtics hosting the Mavericks and the Lakers visiting Detroit.

I am going to avoid all of the power-house matchups myself. I am looking at Cleveland going into Seattle. The line is at 3-1/2 against the Cavaliers, but they have been playing well, even without Anderson Varejo. Lebron James picked it up last game and should continue to do that. Against the lowly Supersonics, I look for the Cavaliers to cover tonight.

SportsBettingChamp And The NBA Tonight

The SportsBettingChamp System gives you the best picks in the NBA. To get them you need to have the system. It is the only way to join in on this years great winning NBA season.

And I know that people looking for an MLB betting system should take a look at The SportsBettingChamp System too! Last years record for MLB bets was 67 wins and 3 losses. I know it's cold out but the baseball season will be here before we know it.

For the NBA tonight make sure that you run The SportsBettingChamp System to get the picks. After that take a look at the injuries. There are a few key ones out there right now.

The first one is Kevin Garnett. When the Boston Celtics roll into Miami, he will be out. It will be the 2nd straight game he has been out. Garnett, the Celtics' second-leading scorer (19.2) and leading rebounder (9.9), was out for the his first game of the year, the 96-93 loss to Orlando on Sunday.

Boston is currently a 6 point favorite and I still think they are a good pick tonight. Miami is dealing with a few injuries f its own, especially down the middle and is definitely not as good as Orlando.

I also like the Detroit Pistons over the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers have been slumping and Detroit is looking for it's 3rd straight win. The Pistons have played well against the Pacers this year and think they can cover the 7-1/2 points. It is a bit riskier then the Celtics match-up because of the higher spread, so bet on the low side if you decide to go with it.

NBA Today - Good Match-ups Galore

There are a lot games in the NBA today and tonight. How are all of The SportsBettingChamp System users out there doing on them?

So far this NBA season the betting system has a record of 45 wins and 1 loss. Not too bad and I like all of the security knowing that it is on track for another season of wins. I am up enough now that I don't have to worry about things and am looking for some bets that are strong and pay out some more.

In the NBA today the Phoenix Suns are hot and have won their 6th out of their last 7 games. They had a strong 4th quarter and beat the Chicago Bulls by 10. More then covering the spread that was out there of 7-1/2 points. Even on the road the Suns are a good play if they are the underdog and have less then 8 points to cover.

The Boston Celtics knew they were in for a tough battle against the Orlando Magic and their expectations were right! The Magic pulled out a 3 point win much to the dismay of the sports bettors who were with Boston and thought they could cover. I could see why it would be an enticing bet when the Celtics only had to cover 3 points.

It went to the wire and the last second jump shot from Hedo Turkoglu was enough for the 3 point win for the Magic, the 2nd time this year they have beat Boston at home.

Remember the injuries I keep mentioning to check and follow? Well, if you bet on Boston, it was risky. This was their first game all season without Kevin Garnett. He missed it with an abdominal strain. So, make sure you watch his status for their next game. It will make a difference.
