For the NBA tonight I am going with the Orlando Magic over the Los Angeles Lakers. The line is against them by 1-1/2 but this doesn't amount to much. The Lakers are having to contend with Kobe Bryant and his swollen finger which resulted in him getting a season low 6 points this week. They are also facing a hot Magic team. Pau Gasol will have his work cut out for him against Dwight Howard. The Magic also have the hot hand of Hedo Turkoglu.
The next game that I like is the Boston Celtics against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Celtics will be without Kevin Garnett, who is also missing his first chance to play in Minnesota since being traded. They have still been playing well and should cover the 6-1/2 points. I would bet this one now as that line may grow. The Celtics have scored more then 110 in 3 of their last 4 games while Minnesota has averaged only 91.2 points per game.
