Tonight look at the New Jersey Nets going to play the Toronto Raptors. The line currently has Toronto as an 8 point favorite. However, the Raptors will be without head coach Sam Mitchell again as he is away until after the all-star break following the death of his father-in-law.
Toronto is also on a 3 game skid and is dealing with a knee injury to Chris Bosh that will have him playing with a sore knee tonight. Starting point guard T.J. Ford is questionable and could miss the game all together.
Put all of this together and then add in the fact that New Jersey is on a 3 game winning streak. They have also held their opponents to under an average of 86.7 points during that streak. I will let you decide who the winner will be but 8 points seems like a lot to cover for the Raptors right now.
